Default New parrot/flowerhorn mix has cloud eye how to treat?

hey guys i got a new flowerhorn/ parrot mix i think its called a kirki or something anyways it has cloud eye which is the best way to treat it?? I habe some premafix anti biotics downstairs i was thinking of trying.. what exactly causes this diseasE?

You may have better luck on bcaquaria.com they have more cichlid keeps there.

Depends on if it s the whole eye, or just the pupil clouding. If it's the eye itself its a bacterial infection, if its just the pupil it's usually a pH problem. If you're going to try antibiotics start with a gram negative like neomycin. Not as strong a tetracyclin, but it won't affect your bacterial filter.

ok well its on the whole eye.. I have no idea what those chemicals our you listed but I need some help here.. the flowerhorn/ parrot now has ick as well so im using aquarosol sorry if spelling is wrong and some melaxfix in the tank??? is this enough to clear it ??? I dont wanna lose either of these fish
