Wow, that's really fantastic work over the year. Amazing corals in your tank.

John your tank is looking stunning. I look at it as one of the things to give me motivation to try and forge forward with mine. I have the same idea as to having a slight mix of LPS with SPS, it just seems to make it more interesting.

thanks Mike,

it is more intresting, you can get different colors and differnt shapes with the LPS, and with the torches and hammers more movement.

I would love to have a tank just with hammers and torches and a wavebox that would be cool.

Throw a question at ya, if you were to do your lighting from scratch would you still go the T5 only route ? I've always been a MH guy but with trying to cut down on power consumption and seeing the success of your tank and several others it looks like either way gets great results.

thanks for the comp.
I have used MH in the past, acutally those are the lighting that is in the very very first pic of this thread. one blub on the right hand side was burnt out.

I switched to t5s, and havent looked back. And if i started a new system, I would probably go with 2 of the 3ft 8 blub ATI fixtures with the a mix of
2 actinc plus,2 new gen 14k,2 coral light 10k,2 and fiji purple on each fixture.

Hi John,

Those are some nice corals that you picked up, any idea if the person/vendor ships(Ontario)?
Your tank's looking sweet, that is quite the change in a year. Is this your first time growing SPS?

Oh, I think you owe us 5 more FTS

Cheers
