![]() They're useful, but all three that I've have stopped rotating within about a year of use even with regular maintenance. The problem is with how the gear mechanism is designed - there's too much play. As a result, the force of the water pushing out disengages the plastic gearing over time as the material wears.

![]() My aquapod has had a flo hooked up to it's mj12 for almost 2 years now.
It has never stopped on me yet and I think I've only cleaned it once, fingers crossed. This has been the longest I've used one, other times has been for 6 month or so before tank redo or crash or one thing or the other. No problems there, but probably not enough use to have the problem mentioned arise... |
