Default If You're Considering Buying a SLS Tek Fixture . . .

I wanted to post this due to seeing a few questions of late with people expressing interest in buying Tek lights. Also, given the holiday season I don't want to see people with buyers remorse after they get their new toy at Christmas only to have a better model released a short time later:

If you're considering buying a SLS Tek fixture you might want to wait.

If you aren't already aware, SLS is releasing the Tek Elite which will have active cooling, include an acrylic shield, and will use what is being reported as being much higher quality material for the reflectors.

So if you're considering purchasing a Tek light you might want to wait as presumably prices on the old model will come down, or you have the option of getting what looks like a better quality fixture. The quality/practicality of the fan design of the Tek Elite looks a little rinky-dink but no one will know for sure until it's released.

Here's a link to some more information:

Cool. Thanks.

I hope they come in 24 inch fixtures.

Cheers,

Thanks for the heads up, I was considering upgrading my Tek-Light to a PowerModule and this gives me another option.
