Sounds about right. I gave up on the premium salts for this very reason. I got the same reading for D-D myself.

IMO Elos and Salifert are about the best bets for Mg. But as stated already, all test kits generally have their own pitfalls.

Okay, sounds like it is the salt and not the test kit that is off. I thought the H2Ocean was supposed to have Mg around 1300 I guess not. Probably time to buy some bulk supplements and switch to IO when this bucket is done.
