Just starting out. Hoping to find a refractometer for cheap

Try ebay....I heard you can find them pretty cheap. I'm sure if you twist Josh's arm at Marine Aquaria, he'll probably cut the price down a little bit if you tell him you're new to the hobby. They are really good there, I buy most of my stuff from there.

Marine Aquaria is on the west side of Calgary Trail and just north of 23rd ave right beside Outback Steakhouse. Very nice store and the owner Josh is usually around.
