![]() People here will give you a hard time about going slow and taking your time and for good reason. They speak from experience and don't want to see another new hobbyist give up because the tank crashes after 2 weeks. That said EVERYONE wants to see you succeed and will answer any question you may have.
You sound like you are off to a great start but you do need to slow down. NO MORE ADDITIONS! Test pH, ammonia, nitrate and nitrates every night for at least two weeks, preferably four so you know what kind of mini cycle you are going through because your tank will cycle to some regard, perhaps so small that your test kits won't pick it up. ![]() "The only thing that comes quickly is failure." <--- This should be on the banner ad rotation of this site. ![]() |

![]() My tank has finally cycled there is algae covering my live rock, sand and glass. Over the past couple days it has bloomed into a wonderful world of the unknown. My Bi colored blenny is now named Blink and lives in his snail shell with his black eel head always sticking out. The algae is very light and can fall off with a touch, i can tell that my PH is changing although my coral are still doing great. I will post more photos tomorrow.
