Default Newb mistake

I came home from work today after picking up a nice new CPR Aquatic filter bag for my sump return and like a dummy didnt rince or wash it .I put it in and my skimmer went nuts. All the corals closed right up ,doing a water change right now has anyone done or know the damage i may have caused.

Its just a bag isn't it? Was there some type of media you put in it? did the water change colour or something or is there a bunch of particles floating around now?

i'd just remove the bag, rinse in and re-install it. I wouldn't bother with a water change. How old is the tank and what type of corals are you keeping?
