Hey there MD14,
I had a small problem with dinos in the beginning. Same as you. I ended up doing much of what the article suggested and also did a couple blackout periods. No lights for 24 hours, blackout with black towel. Corals all survived no problem and fish were a little confused but were fine. I then started back up with a reduced light period over the next few weeks and it worked! Good luck and don't sweat it too much - usually a small part of the "cycle" of a tank trying to mature.
