Light for refugium

For a refugium all you need is a 6500K light. Some clip on light with standard spiral compact fluorescent bulbs works fine. unless of course you want it to look pretty out in the open. You could probably get away with a NO fluorescent fixture with daylight bulbs if you want it to look nicer.

Rona sells something like a 24W 5500K spiral CF spotlight bulb with its own enclosed glass cover and built in reflector. That's what I use.

I just picked up a used 3' coral life aqua light for $40. should be more than enough light. But my fuge is a 55 gal acrylic, that going over my tank, going to gravity feed pods to my display.
