Well, thanks for the offer, but before you go and do that, could you send me (post) some details? Maybe I will try building it myself. I just don't like building things...too much like work.

Try autotopoff.com. Way cheaper then the Tunze and pretty much ready to go (you have to supply a pump for the water; an aqualifter works well for that.)

I've used jbj, kent floats and tunze osmolator.
Tunze has the best ato system out of those three.
Bullet proof.

Ya, I have tossed around the idea of a DIY, or one of the cheaper float types, but I think the Tunze's really win the gold in this case. Salinity is pretty important.
