Default storing of LR

Well it looks like I will be tearing down my 72 bow rr tank & stand which will probably be going on the block as well (due to moving)

So what is the correct way to store the rocks (a few months a min.)
I was thinking of storage bins with damp newspaper layered between
or shoud the LR be submersed?

Completely submersed in a rubbermaid bin with a small powerhead running. Keep the lid slightly ajar for gas exchange. You may or may not need a heater depending on the location.

If you do a couple of water changes, you'll be surprised at how clean and sparkling your LR will be after a few months. You'll essentially be "cooking" it - a way of re-charging it.
