![]() when doing tank measurements how much space do you give yourself. Like if i wanted a 20x20x18 tank with 1/4in glass would it be like 201/4 cuts?? Do you have to measure extra for the silicone?

![]() I think most tank builders, build tanks with the dimensions to the outside edge of the glass, would just have to request that the dimensions are what you want inside the glass.

the front and back pieces would be 20 X 18 the sides would be 19 3/4 X 18 silicone should only be 1 or 2 mm thick so the throw out wont be noticable but if your getting someone to build it just tell them the dimentions. if your going rimless deffently sandwich the sides around the bottem. it looks much better. |
