Thumbs up Nice addition to your Koi pond

I caught this beauty this past Sunday, and yes I released it.

Wow. YOu caught this where? In a lake?

Very nice. Alien fish. Although not shocking.... apparently there are cichlids and mollies in one of the hot springs in.... Banff, I think.

if you catch any more of these, you really shouldn't release them. as pretty as they are, they're aliens here and should be killed or put into captivity.

I caught this fish last time I was at a local lake in Coquitlam, put it this way... I had nothing to transport the fish in. I caught it twice in one day, the second time for pics...

Haha Clayton that is too funny. I am totally not surprised it is there, it would make a great meal for a hungry raccoon (or bear because of the size of it!). I'm sure Barry still has his big Koi pond... maybe he would go and try to fish for it.

Yeah I seen em, mostly little guppy type fish and tetras, and I cant quite recall if I spotted some cichlids. Its sad, but they are practically part of the ecosystem now (been there for 50 or so years apparently).
