Maybe consider saving some time researching..........maybe that is... I have had dimmable ballasts since 2003, have not dimmed them once. Chances are you will never dim them unless you have a unique application for them.

But how much DO they dim? I was thinking adding them to a full sunlight sunrise/sunset. You know, starting off with T5's that are dimmable, ramping them up, then ramping up MH to full brightness for a couple hrs, then ramping down. Could also make Spotted cloud patterns and such??
