Default Reef Construct is CRAP!!!

Anyone ever used this stuff?

I've been trying to stick a couple rocks together with it all afternoon. They are stacked on top of one another with just a bit off kilter. They will stay, but when someone walks past the tank the vibration knocks them off.

I would recommend you save your money and try something else. Does anyone have another epoxy type brand to try.

I'd probably not ever try using epoxy to stick rocks together. Acrylic rods are the way to go..

I'll have to give that a try, as I was typing the original post they fell over again. The stuff won stuff won't stick to itself much less rocks.

Another cool side effect is the water has turned a nice milk color.

Glad I took everything out of the tank and put it in quarantine before I started the new aquascape!!

It's a common misconception. Epoxy doesn't stick, it hardens. You wrap it around crevices and stuff it into holes, then it stays put, but it's not glue.
