why did you decide to go with a completely closed unit? Are you not worried about heating? Please let me know how those fans work for you once you get them going, I'm curious to hear how they compare to others.

I just picked up a couple of the Ice Cap temp controlled fans for my canopy. I'm still worried about heat though, I really do not want to have to buy a chiller! Our tank is in the living room so noise was a big consideration.

What type of lights will you have in the canopy?

NB, I think that my first MTB was an old Norco Bigfoot, back in probably 1988, oh how time flies!
