![]() Hiya
this is a good thought and the only way of knowing is by reviews such as this and also own personal trials. back in the UK with my 120 gal set up (no sump) I used to spend many $$$$ on additives because i was told I needed them, did I ever see any difference? Heck no! (I was not using fauna by the way) the tank was full of brown sps struggling to say the least. When we emigrated I gave away the whole contents to a very deserved cause, who ran fauna products, within a month all corals had the colour they should do and he was fragging them as fast as he could keep up. I have tried various additives in many years of fish keeping and taking my sales hat off (up to you to believe me or not that it is off) but fauna is a product that does exactly what it says "when added as directed". IT is not a product to throw in random doses and walk away, but follow the instructions and watch the results. The guy I mentioned about the power traces changing his coral colour over night is Lorin on RC (kidney514) please feel free to ask him, I was not aware of this story until he came round to pick up supplies for a Montreal dealer on Sunday that has a huge repeat client base for the product range now. Dealers tend to test products like this first before commiting, and this dealer (amongst others) now rates the product very highly. But back to your valid thought, I encourage everyone to try at least one product from Fauna maybe match to a product you already use, try it for a month and see the results. |

![]() good point Mike, I wonder if or does it matter if the tank is big or small. lots of people say that a small reef tank is harder to keep up with then a larger one due to the water chem changing. that would be cool to see thou 2 reviews with the same corals but different tanks. 150 VS 20 might be cool to track... where Doug has the same corals as I do since I they are fragged from my tank.....
