in all my experience with powder blue's they are really gentle and i freshwater dipped mine before i put him in qt and he hasn't ever had ick in my tank. Mind yiou i haven't ever had ick in my tank people think its kind of a miracle.

I've had mine for a year now. Never had any trouble with him, and hes now about 7"
