I came downstairs last week to my LMB all dry and crispy and covered in lint...tossed him back in, his fins have healed and he's back to his old self... fish are strange! I have hope for your eel

Unfortunately I found him dead this morning. I was really hopeful that he would pull through but he did not. Thanks for your support and rip little buddy.

They are tough...
I had the same thing happen with a PJ Cardinal. I thought he was totally dry and a gonner... but he survived and is still playing with his chums today.

Thanks again for everyone's kind words I wonder what was the demise of him. I mean he survived 8-10 hours out of the tank only to die when he seemed to be recovering. I try and compare it to humans but we can only survive without oxygen for minutes not hours. They must be able to go into some kind of shut down mode in order to survive that kind of ordeal.
