![]() I started out with the Red Sea Wavemaster and wouldn't recomend it for you, If the price is no problem I would go with the tunze nano setup. the hydra's are huge compared to the tunze nanos so visualy the tunze would be better, and give you way more flow for the size. plus if you go to a computer later like the proflux it can run the tunze.

![]() Flow (and lighting) a quarter round tank is really difficult to get right.
The Tunze nanowavebox is meant for SUPPLEMENTAL flow only. In any event, the waveboxes were designed to use the harmonics of a rectangular tank so I'm not sure it would even work on a quarter round tank. I've used the Red Sea Wavemaker before with maxijets and it is very hard on powerheads over time. You'd here them rattle fairly regularly on start up. I've read that some who use it with hydors get the same issues. If you can swing it, tunze nano 6055s would be a good choice as steve mentioned. Having two in there with a single controller won't be outrageously expensive. The cheapest way would be modded sureflow maxijets. BTW, the only pumps I've seen that can truly make polyps sway gently are the Tunze Waveboxes and the ecotech vortechs on a certain setting. |

![]() You can run Koralia's off of seio wavemakers. They're about $100 less retail than Hydor's and because they only increase/decrease the current (don't turn it off completely) it's fine for the Koralias

![]() Here's a good product thats quite cheap. I've run one on my 50 cube and it works not bad. Not anything like a Tunze system but a heck of a lot more affordable.
