Just found out where my rainforest came from: World Wildlife Federation. Not sure it actually helped the rainforest specifically, but I would think that the money donated would be going to some good cause within their organization.

Yeah i would say the world wildlife federation should be worthy of donating to. credible as well.

We fell in love with the animals at the Osa Wildlife Refuge in Costa Rica they are doing some great rehabilitation on a shoestring.
They have a wish list and take donations.

Another great gift is a Kiva certificate. The recipient chooses who they want to lend the money to, and when the loan is paid back, they can either withdraw it, or loan it out again.
