Default Total outrage

That is how I feel.
please see www.anchofish.com/_cleaner_comp/50G_package.htm

Can you image selling a package to 'clean' your 50G of algae that includes a naso, yellow and lawnmower blennie?

There ought to be a law. If they were in Canada I would sick the Humane Society and the SPCA on them first thing in the morning.

I'll get aheart attack if I pressed their 30G recommendation so I wont

URRRRRRRHHHHH

i really think there's a bug that makes that show up as the 50 gal selection. i looked at it at work this morning and all four packages are the same, thought it was my browser not executing the code properly. looked again at home just now, same thing. i suspect that's the 100 gal cleaning package...

BTW, the site is a laughable atrocity imo....hermits went out years ago.

Five urchins....hell, no worry about coraline, you'd probably have no rock.

Obviously, this is the continual cleanup crew site.....they will need more carrion eaters in the second round of advertising....

When most reefers will now at least consider tank size in choosing whether to add a tang or not, it is sad to see a vendor advertise this nonsense

Absolutely....no argument there.

I tried to go thru all the crap of typing up a tang post, and gave it up.

I just hope people ARE more educated now, and view this type of thing as nonsense.

The minimum size tank for small species like a zebrasoma species (yellow or brown etc.) is 75 gallons.
The acanthurus species like a powder brown need a minimum of 6 foot long tank (135 gallons)
This all per Scott Michael, noted author a fish guy.

this is what people who know accept as minimum sizes, but we have to remember almost every other book and such I have read lists the min for almost every tang as 40 gal.. be it silly to imagin a tang in a tank that small that is what a lot of places go by.. and heck, it there small we coupld probably put 3 in there..
