I am not going to kill a monti cap with nitrates at this level. If anything it may slow growth. I see many sps dominant tanks with higher nitrates. I keep them anywhere from 5-15 because over the years I have found my soft corals grow much faster. I have experimented with 0 nitrates via a denitrator with poor results in my tanks.

Im not looking for advise on lowering nitrates, just a monti frag and I have found one.
