Thats crazy your fish is going to get smoked in the head.
 You should put in a small piece of live rock to seed some coraline into your tank.

can you cover it some how??
Instead of people just walking up to your tank and saying wow thats cool.. whats that coral.. they will be saying cool... whats the spinning thing,.. just my 2 cents.. cool idea if it was behind rockwork or something... like I said just my opinion..
