![]() Tough one. I would spend more on a coral, but less on a fish. Fish just seem like too much of a risk, while I have always found corals to bounce back if they don't fair too well with all the change/stress.
I'd spend no more than $100 on a coral, and no more than $70-80 on a fish. I also own a small system, so the fish I choose usually don't go past $50-60.
