I like how you leak test right above an extension cord fixed up with duct tape. That's something I'd do. Go ahead ask how many times I've received the 60hz tingle.
Seriously though, system looks great. I'll be watching this thread closely, might be a good winter project. |

Hahaha ya the ground plug was broken off on the other end too.... I guess thats just the way i roll.
Anyone else have any light suggestions? |

have you looked at T5's? They would cover the whole length of the tank with no spotlight look and you'd easily be able to get 4 across the tank. Plus there would be no heat issues.

already have 2 24' tek t5 fixture but it takes up the hole top of the tank and i wont be able to look top down.... that is what i will be running temp unless i can find a way to still look down into my tank.

I'd go for a single MH pendant on some kind of a quick lift hanging system like this:
http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/s...t_ID=sl-zslift You can easily lift it up and down for viewing purposes. A small DE pendant like a lumenmax would give you good coverage but would still be small enough for top-down viewing even the pendant in place. |
