It may. Are all the heads completely worn away? That has happened to me before. Exactly the same thing. Urchin knocked it over and the tube anemone and it battled it out over night. I lost two heads but saved one, I almost lost it though (it refused to open any more than an inch for about a week). It has split now so it is back and healthy now. So the only thing I think you can do is put it in a refugium (if you have one) or move it to another secluded place were it cannot be disturbed and just hope for the best. I lost two heads, but they make a good stand for the other two now (trying to make the best of my loss). BEST OF LUCK!

Last Torch I got just did that with no animal interaction. 3 heads turned to much in 3 days
