It's weird, because it's a brand new set up, just installed. Puzzling..... Don't know if it's the lines....could be the pump.(but it's brand new also.)

Is the ATO reservior higher than the sump? It so, it is possible you are getting a siphon.

this is what happened to me to try running your topoff water in to your tank not your sump this is what i did and it works great now.

I'll probably keeping the sensor in the sump, and put the return line into the tank.(which is higher than the reservior.) Grade 6 science. I'll try that. Cool, hope it works. Thanks, Doug
