I have three more med sized rocks in my sump. I could probably break those up into smaller chunks. I was hoping to provide more swimming space.
I was just thinking this morning that I wanted sand because it looks so much nicer IMO and that I could possibly make it work. But the reason why I didn't setup a sandbed was that there were too many mixed opinons. Such as:

So I decided that I wasn't experienced enough to try. Perhaps later on if I decide to build another system
