![]() Nice clam Keri. I always liked Derasas as they have a very cool pattern to them. As for the algae, it may be the dredfull bryopsis. And if it is, you need more than a sea hare to help.

![]() ![]() snapped a quick pic right at lights out with a flash and a FTS of the 65 with the clam to give an idea on size ![]() As for the algae...yeah.... I pull it out by hand every so often but that gets old FAST.... I'm not sure what is causing it, all of my params are Great (aside from a JUST above 0 nitrate) I use RO/DI water, and the oldest T5 bulb I have in there is still only 6 months old. *shrug* Macro algae loves my tank ![]() |

![]() Awesome clam!! I agree, looks like bryopsis to me. Look over on RC...there's a huge thread over there about raising Mg levels to eradicate bryopsis!
As for the sea hare, what kind of pumps/powerheads do you have? They're notoriously stupid for getting sucked in (I know this from personal experience, ughhh...) |

![]() I have Koralias, and mine hasn't been sucked in. When I had a Seio in there, it got sucked in....luckily, I was able to save it, but it wasn't pretty!

![]() How big is that clam supposed to get? I have a 55 gallon FW that I'm going to change over to SW...is this size of tank too small for a clam?
