I am just getting into diving (Almost all geared up too!). Ogden point is great, Mystery Wreck at deep cove is good too. I have only done shore dives so far, but lots of stuff to see. Not too sure what there is up island, but ogden would be worth a drive to see.

diving
Do a night dive at the breakwater, Ogden point. It is unreal, and a little spooky at first.

There are a couple of great dives in Nanaimo. You could alway drop by a dive shop in Nanaimo and see what in in Parksville. I'm sure there will be something

It looks like there is a dive shop in Nanoose Bay. Just found out they don't do rentals though. Need to go to Nanaimo for that. Last edited by Treebeard; 04-25-2008 at 08:20 PM.
