![]() yeah it looks like sponge to me too. the antenna looking growths are a bit weird though. then again, sponge can take on some pretty wacky forms. when you touch it, can it retract at all? does it react to any nervous stimulus?

![]() i have one at the back of my tank i believe, never gave it much thought, always assumed it to be a wierd sponge? the antennas really throw me off though, mine looks identical minus antennas ..poke it

![]() Mine have the atena and when thy touch another piece of rock it expands again in to a sponge...lol
![]() guess its one way to move around the tank or spread would be easyer to shoot off long atena till tou touch something worth growing on
