![]() It is a bit high....Ive had my ASM and ER working in 12 inch's of water but even that is high. Looks like you might be drawing to much air. Try pinching the air line a little (or a lot....lol) and see if that helps. Adjusting the riser tube so the water level is about at the top of the skimmer neck may help. Its hard to tell where the water level is in your pics.

![]() Yes, I also agree. However, wouldn't the low return chamber water level simply be the result of not enough water in the system? I think he needs to add more SW. (and raise that skimmer....you can see a massive amount of free airbubbles in the skimmer chamber of the sump)

so for the skimmer i want to raise it how much? how big should i make a plat form? and for the skimmer out put tube where should it be exactly? above the black foam or with it ? or what? |

![]() Maybe you can try to cut down the last baffle leading to your return chamber to increase the water level. That should cut down on the noise and air in the tank.
