I would think their skin would be sensitive to the sun?

Around 4 months old at the time of these pictures, they're about 5.5 months now.

1/3 cat, 1/3 dog, and 1/3 monkey!

Anyone with a Devon Rex can understand the monkey reference... they're quite acrobatic.

Catherine - They feel like petting velvet...if you can imagine...very very soft...but warm as there is no hair to buffer the heat to you. When you see them you think they won't be soft or nice to pet but I prefer it to a coated cat as it is sooo soft! If you don't bathe them for longer than recommended they can get an oily feel. And yes, they are sensitive to sun. You can't EVER let them outside (and for the price you pay you wouldn't let them walk out the door anyways....and being inside is sooo much safer for any cat!), and you do have to watch that they don't have window they can suntan in for long periods.

Devons!! I love them! I had one many years ago and I think that will be the second cat that we add to our house.....I like their personality alot...very dog like just like the Sphynx. Mine was fairly coated though...lots of curls. She was gorgeous. I have found a breeder in Ontario that I like...but would love to find a GOOD Devon Rex breeder closer to us!

Here's a more recent photo of Bonnie (taken 10 minutes ago). She's pedigreed, and we bought the breeding rights. Her proposed mate Bob however isn't registered. I think they've both got Sphynx somewhere in the family tree, as I don't think either of them are going to have much for coats; what they've got is pretty sparse, but they have that soft velvety feel. I'd love to see a Sphynx in person, there's nothing better than the wrinkles We consider Bob to be our 'pug' cat. Nothing beats the look on a person's face the first time they see them, you can see the 'omg what's wrong with that cat' look in their eyes.
