It can control more than 8 x t5s, The lighting software profilux control allows this.
I just about 10 lights so far on mine,

You can control up to 8 dimmable lights independently. Of course more than 8 lights can be controlled (dimmed) but then some of them have to be controlled simultanously (groups of lights).
For your example: Use 8x double-output ballasts -> then you can control 8x2 tubes.

Thanks guys that is exactly what I was after. I was told that the double dimmable ballast is counted as 2.

Hi there,

One of the High-Inrush outlets on the digital powerbar quit on me. Is there any way to try and troubleshoot/fix this myself? It was controlling a single 250 watt magnetic ballast.

The indicator light comes on and I can hear the switch "click" but there is no power to the outlet itself.

There are fuses in the powerbars with inrush current protection.
Maybe this fuse is blown - replace it with exactly this type.
For a test you can simply use a fuse from another socket. Please refer to the powerbar manual.

Turns out it is the fuse. Any idea where I can get replacements?
