@reef:
The dosing pumps have a flow rate of approx. 60ml/min. Due to tolerances of the motor or the pump it is possible that a pump has a different flow rate. You can correct the parameter "flow-rate" if needed. This parameter influences the calculated "on-time", not the speed.
Please see manual chapter "dosing pumps".
Error1: while the first seconds of boot-up ProfiLux can't communicate with View - than Error 1 is displayed. After boot-up is completed View starts to work - no problem
combo-card: there is no place for a print on the rear plate. But with each card is a manual shipped. This manual describes which functions the BNC-plugs have.

@teejay:
You can find the SSID also on your PC under "properties" of your network-connection.

Matthias i will check the dosing of the pumps as i am sure i put in the settings to dose 1ml, i did not put anything to dose yet but when i checked it was dosing far more than 1ml. it must have dosed for about 1 minute.

To confirm if i set the dosing rate at 1ml and dosing per day 24. it should dose 24ml a day. is that correct?

With the measurement data, will it be improved soon so we can copy and paste it. also the profilux control software, would good to be able to copy the screen shots.

not correct

you have to adjust the "rate/dosing".

The flow rate describes the used pump. Maybe something between 55 and 65ml.

In your case 1ml. If "dosings per day" = 24 you dose 24ml per day.

Please read the manual. There is everything i wrote in the last posts desribed.

Ok i will check my settings,

Any chance of getting motors of the dosing pump to dose slower? i doubt anything needs to be dosed so fast. is it because the slower pumps cost much more??

I'm dosing sodium carbonate which tends to be hard on plastic an rubber parts. What's the life expectancy on the tubes in the dosing pumps? Are they available separately or do I have to replace the whole peristaltic pumps?

Thanks
Rob

The tubes are of medical grade, as with everything GHL it is of the highest of quality, so you would get better life expectancy than most for sure.

As they are very long life, the unit is modular meaning you would replace single doser at fault

Here it is:

The newest firmware 3.06 (beta) can be downloaded here:
http://www.ghl-kl.de/Produkte/Aquari...LuxII_V306.zip

ProfiLuxControl II 3.0.6.0 here:
http://www.ghl-kl.de/Produkte/Aquari...olII_V3060.exe

Warning: These are beta-versions at the moment, it is not impossible that there may be bugs in the software.

Before updating you should save your settings and sensordata, these files can be downloaded to ProfiLux after the update!

What's new?

1. support for the new cards PLM-4L (4x 1-10V-interfaces) and PLM-pH-Redox (combo for pH and redox measurement)

2. Complete new programmed current control! Up to 4 pumps can be controlled (or more if you control some pumps simultaneously). New modes: surge, sequence, random in several variants.
Increase of pump power while thunderstorm; 2 pump groups can be operated independently; all pumps can be programmed individually; monitoring of the pump power in ProfiLuxControl,........
->just download and test it!

3. Some other small improvements

Have fun while testing the new features!

Your feedback is appreciated!

Gday guys (and Ladies)

Im glad I found this forum Ive been trying to findout if the Profilux II Plus can actually control more then 8 T5 tubes and if so how (HELP) I havent bought one yet Im planning my new tanks lighting and in the end it will have about 16 t5s (NO MH's) and 3 skylights.

I have a feeling If I link more then one controller together I will be ok but nothing I can find actually proves this.

Thanks
From DOWN UNDER
