what test kit have you been using? There was a thread on RC about salifert having a bunch of crappy alk kits out there. Have you verified with another brand of test kit?
I'm using an IO kit, I was thinking of getting another kit just to see if there was any difference between the two. But I'm getting a drop in Alk within 24 hrs testing with the same IO kit so I figured there is something else going on.
