Need wave bucket design

Does anyone out there know of or have any idea's for a wave maker?

I have a Idea to make a bucket that fills up with water then dumps into the tank, just not sure on the dump procedure.

If anyone has seen any pictures or designs please let me know...

Due a search for "Carlson Surge Device" either on RC or Google, you will get a lots of DIY info
