Default Fresh Water Copepods

Last weekend I was out at our acreage in Sundre AB and noticed that our 3 foot wide creek had not frozen yet. Even more interesting was in a little pond area it was teaming with fresh water copepods. There was one that was about an inch and a quarter long that was robin egg blue colored. Each season that I look in the creek there is something different to behold. So cool.
