Default skimmerless after chemi-clean

this is a question to anyone that has ever used this to control a cyano outbreak- how long did you skimmer go ape on you after the 48 treatment period and 20% water change?

It was about 4 weeks and several water changes before it was back to normal. The skimmer would work for a day or so then go nuts about 2 weeks after treatment. It did clear up my algae problem

unplug it, your tank will be fine over the weekend

its better then the sludge poring back into the tank when it gets to full. IMO

I didn't use a skimmer on my tank for almost 4 months (with many LPS and a solitary SPS). Everything was fine. You should be, too
