Initially parity will be rough on some aspects of CDN business but as things level out and the dollars stay close to equal it will get better. It will take a couple years though.
One comment on tourism. Even when the CDN $ was at 65 cents Canadians still went to the States and travelled abroad, the Yanks just have to swallow their pride and get over themselves.
