Thumbs up Friends Reef Tank (1100G)

i recently found out one of my friend who is really into saltwater. he told me he had a 800 gallon tank setup soon to be a 1100 gallon tank. when he told me this i was so shock!

i just had to check out his system
now his system is only 4 months old and he still has alot of planning and tweaking to do.

but here are his specs and stuff he has or stuff that are on the way

Current setup.

500 Gallon Dispaly tank, starfire front and back
300 gallon sump
300 gallon acrylic tank ( Aggressive tank) no setup but plumbed
100 gallon refudge in the planning.
Equipment list
4x250w ice cap Ballast, 4x Luminarc Reflectors,
Profilux controller, H&S a300x1260 Skimmer, Marine Tech 5 Stage Calcium Reactor, 2xWazy Sea Plus, 160 watt AQUA UV, 2xHammerhead Return pumps

there are more things that he hasn't put in just yet and are still in the box.
from what he told me, he has 2 darts, barracuda, wapoo pumps in the box still. he also has a emperor aquatics i believe it's about 6 feet tall? not to sure as it was just laying down.
i believe he has another ca reactor on it's way, Schuran Jestream 2 Ca Reactor
of course this post wouldn't do any justice unless i had some Pictures
Reef Pic 1
Reef Pic 2

i just bought the Canon 30D so i was playing with all the settings, so some pictures may not come out too well, or it maybe off color, i didn't have a tripod nor did i get any good lens for it.

i have since returned the camera and have pre order the 40D
but aside from that i hope you guys like the pictures.

Looks cool. That setup sounds familiar. Is your friend from the board?

That is quite the stocking list.

Do you know if he added all the purple tangs at once?

yes he add them all at once,

except 2 of the tangs were being picked on so they are in the sump for the time being until he rearrange his lr layout.
