Hiya

ASAP I understand matthias is still working on them.

We have WLAN up and running in the UK on a test bed using the new software with no issues, looks like the release is going to be a real breeze!

Regards
Michael

Default EVG-AP2 version 4.xx

Matthias Gross

i have read the spec sheet for this and would like to know if it was possible to connect two ballasts to one relay control set leaving one side unsed.
i am aiming to utilize one port to control two ballasts from the profilux , and then add a led bar on the second port, using a splitter YL2.

You can connect several ballasts to one EVG-AP output. The only limitation is the inrush current of all connected ballasts (in sum). It must not exceed 100A, with good ballasts you should not have a problem with up to 5 ballasts on one relay. The inrush current of a ballast is usually given in the datasheet.
But why do you want to use a splitter and only one relay? Do you use L3L4 for other devices? If not there is no need for this configuration.

And: The new (W)LAN-tutorial - german version - is finally ready. Today we translate it, in the evening we will publish the english version. I'll post later again when it can be downloaded.

i have used one relay for one ballast ,i didn 't know that my lights where configured so one tube from each side come on with one ballast,
works better than i thought.

i know need to find out how long i need to burn the tubes before dimming
these are Giesemann Infiniti range 60cm. i have set 100 hrs from the manual of the profilux.

100 hours are ok for burning in

And finally:
The WLAN/LAN-tutorial can be dowloaded here:
http://www.ghl-kl.de/Produkte/Aquari...AN_new_eng.pdf

Please excuse this translation to english - in a next step we will get it "debugged". But it was important to publish this doc ASAP and i think it can be understood.

I still confuse with how to set up.
How do set set the IP address? where do I get the IP address from?or just set any number? how come this thing so complicated?
Matthias, is there a customer service or phone number I can call to get help for setting up?

Thank you

Lam

I have no idea about home network, what I have and used now is the computer hook up to the DSL router.
I follow the instruction to set up the ProfiLux Plus II controller to 2.2 and then I got loss.
Please tell me what I need and how to set this thing up.
I thought these thing should be plug and play.

Thanks

Lam

I wonder how it was possible to hook up the PC to the router without doing any settings or whaving any knowledge about the network. Is the WLAN security deactivated as standard? This is not recommended.
If this is the case it is very simple to get the connection running.
The only thing you must know: what are the IP-addresses in your network?
I'll send you now a PM with my phone-number, please call me.
