i just started a 24 gallon hex SW tank and i'm using a 150 watt K-2 Viper Metal Halide. so far i'm pretty happy with it. i bought it so that it could easily clamp on since a hex shape is pretty hard to work with as far as lighting goes. it provides excellent lighting for my tank but you really have to watch the temperature as it gives off alot of heat.
