Default in sump skimmer

i'm looking at getting either asm g3 or euroreef rs135 and not sure if i have enough space in my current sump (megaflow model 3)
can either of these be setup to run beside the sump, till i change the sump?
or can someone suggest a better skimmer (around same pricing) for an inline setup

thanks

I have a 90 gal. and a megaflow 3 sump Im using a coralife super skimmer it works great. At first I had it in the sump. Now I run it on the side and I turned the sump into a refugium.

I have an ASM G3 and think it would be difficult to use it outside the sump.

you could buy the rs135 (or asm g3) and modify either to a recirculating skimmer? Then you could run it out of the sump and have a much better skimmer as well.

You'd have to get ahold of some proper sized uniseals and have the balls to drill your $300-400 skimmer
