I have kept my seahorses with live corals, but I think they do best in a tank with prolifera, halimeda, & red halymenia macroalgae (and other tall macros). I've also kept suncorals under their feeding station to catch any stray food. The problem is that there is a possibility that the coral will sting the seahorses or that the seahorses will irritate the coral by hanging on. Also, corals usually need really bright illumination, while seahorses don't. Anthony |
