If the rock was pretty lifeless to begin with, I'd say give it a few more days.
Then check the ammonia, If you have any Start tracking it. If you don't your probably alright to toss it in.

yeah its a really nice peice lots of holes and stuff, but not much life, i havent seen one bristle worm or anything, theres really no place for them as this rock is really open, just some sponges but i scrubbed them off, for the most part its pretty bare and thats why i dont think im getting much ammonia

Where did you get it from, was it already pre-cured?

golds, i dont belive theirs is precured

I got my rock at Gold's. It wasn't pre-cured and it took about 4 weeks. I never checked the ammonia though, only the level of nitrite and nitrate.

no thats the other thing there is very little smell
other rock i cured reeked |
