Almost all the zoos on my frag have opened, although they look a lot different than they did in howdy's pic! It's no doubt due to the stress of shipping, and perhaps I have a different lighting set-up.

The pics indicated a bluish centre with red tentacles. As you can see in the smaller pic in the upper-right of the picture below, there are faint spots of blue. But they're very faint! And the tentacles are more of a peachy-orange.

Hopefully they'll colour up over time. Either way...thanks for the product, howdy.

Drew, I know I didn't take part in the order, but thought I'd toss out my two cents here. I have ordered lots of zoos from online, and through howdy even. I would definitely say the loss in colour is from stress, and different lighting conditions. I have recieved many zoo frags like this, and every time they have bounced back with time.

Just my two cents, sucks that it happened, but I'm confident they'll recover. You can see the colour resemblence (sp?) in both photos, so time will heal this one. I'm a zoo freak lately and that's all my tank is becoming, they definitely are one of the best/easiest and most colourful corals to keep, IMO.

I spray new frags with a turkey blaster with reef roids in it. It seems to give them momentary color, i've always found the ones that respond within an hour or so (it' only briefly mind you at first) are the ones that will do a nice recovery. But i've yet to date ever had anything that looked like the picture i based my purchase on.
