Default Species Tank

I am going to be downgrading to a 50gal tank soon, and thought it might be kinda cool to do some sort of species specific tank. I will be having minial live rock in there (kind of a Japanese style thing)... want to have all sorts of corals in there too... has anyone seen anything interesting?

Edit: looks like they are a coldwater species, very difficult to find, and expensive, etc. etc. guess thats a no go! how cool would that tank be though?

I may have heard a Rumor that some sea dragons(probably most) cost at least 10K each? Or, its in the thousands for sure. Their trade is probably fairly restricted too. But It would definetly be something awesome to try!

Wow 10k! In all seriousness these creatures should be left in the oceans for the time being. I read somewhere that the aussie gov't only allows one brooding male per year to be collected.

those pink ones look cool!.... I was reading a thread over at RC... about a guy who has a group of 5 or 6 flames angels in his tank... how cool would it be to have a pair or trio of angels for a species tank? That is if you could get them the right sexes...

I had a "harem" of lemonpeel angelfish years back.

The largest becomes the male, with a harem of females. All different sizes was what was recommended to me. I bought five fish, lost one right off the bat, but the others were stunning and thrived until I moved them from a 155g to a 48g. The male exhibited beautiful coloration.
